Colors

I love colors. I found this website, Coffee Shop Blog, that had a program to download so that you could make your own color pallets using your pictures. It is really cool so I thought that I would share a couple that I made. Check out the Coffee Shop blog, she has lots of things that you can use with photoshop.

I hope that you take advantage of the free color palette and have fun creating your own.

Marching on

Here we are in the 2nd week of March, hence we are "Marching" along. LOL

I received some happy mail today, my kit from Little Red Scrapbook came today. I have been excited for it to get here. I am looking forward to getting started on some layouts using the kit. It is not normally something that I would pick out for myself, so I will really have to push myself to create with it. That is something that I really enjoy about kits, they make me think outside of the box and figure out ways to use supplies that I would not normally choose for myself. Good way to expand my horizons.

I have some other supplies on order and am hoping that they come in the mail in the next couple of days. It is the Gabrielle collection from Bo Bunny. I love the colors, the butterflies and well actually I love everything about it. I have lots planned to use the collection for.

I have been working on some items but unfortunately I can't share them right now. Hopefully I will be able to share with you soon.

I did find a card that I can share with you today. This card was made with some Bo Bunny papers that I had left over from another project. They are just scraps and I am not sure what line they are from. I love using stamps and then cutting them out and using pop dots to give them dimension.

I will be back in a couple of days with something new that I have been working on. Just a hint it has to do with colors.  :)

March is National Craft month

and I am planning on participating. My original plan was to create an item everyday, but I know me and I know that would never happen. SO instead I am just working on getting something done every week. Being this coming week is the first full week of March,  I will post today my work that I did in February. I will be working on some items this week that I will share throughout the week or next weekend.

This is one of my favorite cards that I have eve made. It uses the Hopscotch line from Basic Grey. This is such a wonderful line of papers. I must worn you no that for some reason right now I am so into butterflies!! Love them!!
This layout is a very basic layout. No patterned papers just cardstock. It is very hard to see but the circles have all been textured and chalked. Kaya loves to write on the sidewalk with chalk.
This layout is of my great nephew Jonah. He was only 2 weeks old in these pictures. I created this layout with Jillybean Soup papers. I love using buttons and threads. I struggle with doing boy layouts, but I feel that this baby layout is absolutely adorable.
The last item that I have to share tonight is this layout of Hayleigh. I have always loved profiles. To me they are just beautiful and allow you to see the details in the face. I have created layouts using 8x12 photos of all of my  grandkids. This layout is also using the  Hopscotch line from Basic Grey. The Metal butterflies are from Michaels, I believe they are Recollections brand.

I hope that you have enjoyed my creations that I shared with you today.
